The LifeShirt® Preclinical uses proven LifeShirt® technology that has been used extensively in clinical and academic research.

The LifeShirt® Preclinical wirelessly delivers better real-time, non-invasive, life-sign monitoring in laboratory animals. The LifeShirt® Preclinical continuously collects, records and analyzes over 150 cardiopulmonary trend and trace parameters in laboratory animals.

The LifeShirt® Preclinical System features an enhanced, ambulatory version of respiratory inductive plethysmography (RIP), the gold standard for respiratory monitoring. RIP is used in more than 1,000 hospital intensive care units worldwide and is the foundation for the LifeShirt®  Preclinical.

Laboratory animals wear the lightweight LifeShirt® garment and protective jacket. Data from up to 16 animals in one room is transmitted to a portable receiver cart and then directly to the researcher’s PC for live viewing or for later analysis.

VivoSoftware packages allow you to view the data in real time and also decrypt and process stored data using patented algorithms.
